Love in the air

I woke up at 5:43 in the morning awoken by the screaming and crying of Nicholas, I ran downstairs and picked him up to calm him down. It definitely wasn't my favourite way to start of my day.

I set him down in his high chair and gave him some breakfast, He began eating very messily but I think that means he likes it.

Brett woke up, And we decided what we were going to do today while Brandi and Vianna were at work and the rest of the kids were at school. We decided to go down to Old Pier Beach with Nicholas, We figured he would enjoy playing in the sand and looking at the ocean.

After the others finished a quick bowl of Cereal for breakfast, Brett, Nicholas and I drove down to Old Pier Beach.

We walked down the hot sidewalk, and with Nicholas in my arms as soon as he saw the beach his eyes lit up, He started to squirm out of my hands but I held him back until we were on the sand.

I set Nicholas down, not too close to the waters because I was nervous that the waves would carry him out to sea, He had a nice view of the Ocean where he was but what he liked most was playing in the sand.

I went to pick up Nicholas  because he began to cry, It was hot out that day so we put him in the shade and kept him out of the sun for a bit.

I squinted my eyes, and up the beach I saw an old friend from High School by the name of Chelsea O'Brien, She had changed a lot and surprisingly looked like Vianna.
"Chelsea? Is that you" I asked 
"Brianna!"
"Chelsea, How are you?"
"I am great, how about you Bri, I haven't seen you in a while."
"I'm good, I have 4 children now, how many do you have?"
"I have 2, Renae and Chantel, Renae is a child and Chantel is a toddler."
"That's great, Chantel is very cute, I just adopted a toddler named Nicholas a month ago and I think we should get together some time and Nicholas and Chantel could be good friends."
"Sounds good, Well I have to run we need to get home for dinner soon, Renae is running a bake sale over there, Go check it out."
"Ok Great, Bye!" I replied while heading over to the bake sale.

Brett went up to Renae's bake sale and bought a cake and 7 cupcakes for everyone in the family.

It was 6:30 and everyone was hungry and tired, it was a long day at the beach. I called up Brandi and asked her to make dinner for everyone else at home, Brett Nicholas and I would just have a quick picnic at the beach and head home after that.

I was so tired when we got home, As soon as we walked through the front door, I couldn't keep my eyes open, I fell asleep in the car on the way home and woke up to get inside, I dropped to the ground and fell asleep. Everyone panicked and the kids were asking "Is mom okay?" Brett explained that I had a long day at the beach and was tired. Brett sent the kids to bed while I was still asleep lying there on the cold hardwood floor asleep.
I woke up at 2:26 am I didn't have the best sleep but at least I had more energy, My back was sore from having an uncomfortable sleep.

I sat on the couch and watched TV for a while until everyone else got up, I turned the fireplace on because it was a bit chilly.
After everyone joined me on the couch to watch some TV since it was Saturday morning until...

 FIRE!! Everyone Panicked! The fire spread, Caught onto Brandi she was burnt! We called the fire department they rushed here very quickly. Brandi was screaming everyone panicked Nicholas was still sleeping and in his room, I was glad he was safe I sent the other kids upstairs quickly they wouldn't listen
Bea: "MOM! I'm to scared don't get burnt I can't leave you!"
"GO BEA GO! I'll be fine just GO!"
Nicole and Bea quickly ran out of the room and instead of going upstairs went into Nicholas's room and calmed him down while the fire men put out the fire.

The fire men arrived and extinguished the fire, I panicked and was so worries about Brandi she was burning and screaming, I wanted to save her but the fire men were already on that mission.

The couches were burnt, The floor was burnt the room smelt like smoke, and everyone was crying worried and Brandi...

 Was most definetly BURNT! she had soot and ashes all over, Her hair was singed and burnt and messy she smelt like smoke and a couple sparks flew from her hair she started heading upstairs with tears in her eyes and her hands as red as a tomato. She was going to run cold water all over her body to cool off, and wash her burnt black hair.

Bea came running to me and gave me a big hug
"It's okay sweetie, You're fine."
"I know, *sniffle* I was just so scared, Is Brandi okay?"
"Yes, She is very burnt and black and covered in soot, She is going to take a shower I am going to go talk to her." 
"Okay Mom."

I ran upstairs and hugged Brandi and assured her everything would be alright.
Brandi: "Mom, That was so scary!" A tear dropped from her eye.
"It's okay love, It was all my fault, I'm so sorry sweetie."
"Mom, No it isn't your fault okay, I am going to go into the shower"
"Ok hun, Go take your shower *Cough Cough*" I choked on the smokey smell coming from her body and I got soot all over my night gown I went to change and went to see all of the kids downstairs.

Brandi started to replace the couches and pictures and cleaned up the soot off the rug, I was proud that she took the responsibility to do that for me.
After that harsh day after cleaning up and calming down the family and I went down to the park to get some fresh air, We opened most of the windows in the house to get all of the smokey smell out of the house.

Brandi walked off and she is a very social person, and she saw someone she liked...
She went up to a young adult named VJ Alvi and introduced her self and flirted a bit to get his attention
She learned many things about him, I sort of watched to see what she was getting into.
After a while she flirted more and he flirted back...

They started to get closer... and hold hands these are some of the words I heard.
"I really like you...and I love your hair."
VJ-"Thanks,  I like you too."

And later that night....They kissed and began to be dating, I had never seen Brandi this happy before.

it made me smile, they walked home together and talked all night.

She talked to him all night, She was flirty and hopeless romantic no wonder she snapped him up so fast!

The next morning VJ walked over here and Brandi ran out the door and leaped into his arms and squeezed him tight.
"VJ!"
"Hey Brandi, I missed you!"
I thought to myself how can he miss her she talked to him all night! anyways I was happy for them, Brandi had never dated anyone before.

Who knew what was next for this new relationship...

A new family member

Life Journey

Good or Bad, It's all a part of life.

 

I was loving life, Having a great morning waking up to happy healthy kids and feeling great about life

Brett Called me to the Bonus room, He needed to talk to me about something important I was eager to hear what he had to say.

Brett- "Bri, This is something I have wanted to ask you for a long time, But I'm going to come right out now." "You know I have wanted children of my own and I love having 3 Step-Daughters they are beautiful girls that you have and I love them, but I would like our own, We can start a new life together and it would be great having another." "So I was wondering if we could have our own one day or even soon.

Brianna- "Brett, I think it's great that you want kids, But even 3 is a lot to handle, I would love kids of our own, But I think that this is coming to fast again just like the wedding." "I promise you Brett in the future we will for sure, No doubt about it." "But right now I don't want another Pregnancy, We just aged up the kids and I would like to get used to that for a while, But what I am willing to do is adopt, And I have really been wanting a boy, So if you want we can adopt a boy after we have a talk with the family and see what they think."

Brett-"That would be great! I think adopting a boy would be a great start, Although he won't be related to us by blood, I totally understand what you mean Bri, That would be fine." "how about we talk to the family tonight and see what they think and if it's okay we will go along with it."

Brianna: "Okay, We will get together tonight, I am glad we agree.

He leaned over and kissed me

That night we all sat around the camp fire in the backyard, Roasted Marshmellows and talked we all had a great time but now it was time to talk about the adopting business.

Brianna-"Girls, Me and Your Step-Father Brett were thinking about adopting a baby boy, But we wanted to ask you first and we were wondering how you would feel about that."

Bea-"Mom, I would love to be a big sister and I have always wanted a brother, So I say it's a go"

Nicole-"Well it would be pretty great to have a toddler in the family again and I have never had the experience to have a brother, So I say Yes."

Brett-"That's great, We are planning on adopting in a couple days, I am so glad that you think this is a good idea."

Brianna-"Yes, But it is getting late now, And you should go to bed So everyone lets go up to our rooms and get a good night sleep."

I got to sleep and dreamt of a new tot in the house and what a joy it would be

I woke up, Cooked breakfast and then took a quick shower and got dressed.

I wanted this baby boy soon because I was extremely exited so I got a bit carried away and called after lunch.

I talked it over with Brett before Calling, After I ran to the phone and called the Adoption Centre 

"Hello this is Brianna Raine Parker"

"I would like to adopt a toddler, A boy please" I told the Adoption Centre

"Thank you for adopting, We will be over with your child in an hour."

"Thanks bye."

As soon as I heard the doorbell ring I ran to the front door and answered it quickly

And there in the lady's arm's I saw the most beautiful baby boy in the world, He was adorable, I picked him up and tickled and snuggled him. He was so cute and had the most adorable laugh.

Then I talked to Brett about what his name should be, Brett was the happiest father I had ever seen, He saw that little tot and he brought a smile to Brett's face.

Me and Brett went into the Laundry room (I don't know why)

to talk about what his name should be, Brett's Grandfather was named Nicholas and Brett loved his Grandfather a lot, So we thought it would be the Perfect name for him, So Nicholas it was!

Me and Brett drove down to the Furniture store and bought a Crib

New Carpet, Wall Paper, Toys, Clothes and Diapers

We had a fun time picking out things for our little Nicholas

Nicholas would be sleeping in his crib in Brandi's room tonight since we had to take everything out of the guest room and move all of Nicholas's stuff into there. We worked all night on his room but in the end it looked great, He had a nice blue room with lots of toys and decorations.

It costed a lot but it was worth it.

After Working on Nicholas's room the whole night and all day Monday

It turned out very well, I was proud of the work we did.

And Nicholas loves playing with his play Table with his blocks.

I told Bea to look into the guest room downstairs, She didn't know about Nicholas yet

She was at a friends sleepover last night and went to school with her friend this morning. Nicole was at work until 10:00 last night and went straight to sleep and Brandi was at work too.

I told all of them to go into the guest room and they adored Nicholas, They played games with him and Bea was so happy to be a big sister for the first time.

Nicole was the first to pick him up

Bea- "Mom he's adorable, I love being a big sister."

Nicole-"Me too." Nicole chimed in

Brandi-"I love him, he's so sweet." Brandi said after.

"I'm glad you love him as much as I do, You all are going to be great big sisters to him, Especially you Bea."

All of the girls: "He's so cute!"

I laughed, "Go play with him girls!"

After talking with the girls, they played with Nicholas and I took a swim, I was tired of being inside all day so I needed some fresh air.

After lunch I taught Nicholas to walk he was almost there!

After I taught him, He was walking like a Pro!

I am so proud of him

After he learned to walk i put him in his highchair and gave him some baby food.

After Brett spent some Father-Son time with Nicholas and read him a story, Nicholas loved to turn the pages for Brett and look at all of the pictures.

Then we put Nicholas to bed and he was sound asleep

My Dream is coming True

Continuing Blog #1

I woke up the next morning wonderful and fulfilled 

My kids were happy and healthy, the house was completely CLEAN and today would be amazing

I looked beside me and saw...VINCENT? Wait...Never mind Thats just Brett I laughed.

Brett is was my Best friend in Elementary and He moved in a while ago.

The Kids got up early in the morning at about 7:00 and ate some Cereal

I was talking to Brett that morning and I liked him more then anyone else.

Brett: "Good morning, How did you sleep"

Bri: "I slept..Well, You?"

Brett: "Bea was crying for some of the night so I had to wake her up and give her some attention."

Bri: "Awww poor Bea, She barely ever wakes anyone up in the night, She's sound asleep at 9:00"

Brett: "She was just lonely, Don't worry about it she's fine."

Bri: "Okay, Ummm...Brett I need to tell you something I am..Slightly attracted to you and I REALLY like you, I like you more then I've liked anyone else. You are funny, Talented and you take really good care of the kids."

Brett: "I was thinking the same about you, I like you ALOT too, You're Pretty, Smart, Funny and you are such a good parent, I feel at home here and I love your kids."

Bri: "Well what if we took things to the next level?"

Brett: "I think that would be great, We both like each other and It would definitely take Vincent off your mind."

Bri: "Yeah, So how about we start dating, I think it'd be fun and I have wanted to date someone new"

Brett: "Well, We Are now dating!"

Bri: "Hahaha, Thats great, I am gonna clear up the table ok 'Babe'" I laughed when I said that.

I finished cleaning and Brett walked over to me and Kissed me, I fell into the kiss and I was surprised I didn't know it would come this fast.

Brett: "Bri, Ever since I moved in I have wanted to kiss you"

Bri: "I have too, I am glad you moved In"

It was a sunny afternoon, I went and sat by the pool and Brett joined me, We talked a bit.

Brett: "Its a nice Day out here"

Bri: "Yes it is"

Brett: "Do you mind if I go take a swim in the pool?"

Bri: That's fine, Go ahead."

He began Swimming in the pool and I tanned in the sun, I noticed that one of my life time wishes was to get married, I wondered if Brett was the one.

I thought about what he said at Breakfast and the thing that came to mind the most was 

"It will definitely take Vincent off your mind"

Would it really? I started to tear up just thinking about him (Vincent) A single tear slipped out of my eye

I tried to hold it back but it was impossible to me.

3 weeks  Later...

I woke up again and walked into the sitting room to drink my Tea.

Then Brett called me over and he bent down on 1 knee and pulled out a Beautiful Ring!

I was shocked, I couldn't believe it My Dream is coming true, I thought to myself

Brett: Will you Marry me?

Bri: "I think this is coming way too fast but...YES!"

I looked at the beautiful ring on my finger, I couldn't believe it this was the most Amazing day of my life! I felt so happy being married again. But Was this coming to fast? it was but I wanted to be Married again.

Bri: THANK YOU!! I shouted to Brett

Brett: You are Welcome! I have been waiting for this day to come.

Bri: I called my best friend Delia and let her know she was so exited for me! But I told her we would be having a Private Wedding, She was kind of disappointed but it's what we decided.

I hugged him tightly, "I love you" I whispered into his ear

Brett: "I love you too." He whispered back.

I remembered that it was  Brandi and Nicole's birthday today, So I asked Brett to plan the party here at our house, I didn't want Them to grow up so fast, but it was time.

The Party would start at 8:00-10:00 and it would be in the backyard 

It was time for Brandi to Age up, We all celebrated while she aged into a beautiful young Woman.

"Happy Birthday Sweetie" I shouted

"Thanks Mom" She Answered back

Brandi Wanted to Change her look to a punk look sort of, I liked the short Choppy red hair she looked Great, it suited her And she wore the craziest outfits sometimes, This is her formal wear.

Nicole the Social Butterfly turned into...

A Gorgeous Teenager!

I wished her a happy Birthday, 

I tear ran down my face, happy tears and proud tears.

I missed the Barbies, the blocks and the teddy bears and Dolls.

Bea turned into a Nice young girl, She was a tomboy, I missed her cute side but she still likes barbies and toys but her style has just changed.
